Ms. Viola Radford was born July 26, 1961 in Daisy, GA to Sylvester Radford Sr. and Memphis Mills Radford. She departed this life on May 26, 2022 at East Georgia Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents. Elizabeth (Nathan) Warren, Randall Mills, Viola (Earlioh) Reed, Ollie and Susie Radford, grandson Byrce Mills and nephew James “Ty” Radford.
She joined St. Luke Baptist Church at an early age and attended Claxton High School. Viola was employed at Evans Memorial Hospital in the House Keeping Department until her health began to fail. But God saw fit for her to regain her health for several years and she returned to work at East Georgia in the same department until her health began to fail again.
Viola leaves to cherish her fond memories one daughter Nancy Evelina Radford and one son Wilbert Radford both of Statesboro, GA; a grandson she raised Jayden Stanley of Statesboro, GA and a nephew she helped raise Kwin (Shay) Radford of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters Ruby (Arthur) Palmer of Claxton, GA and Lillie Mae (Tony) McKever of Hagan, GA; three brothers Sylvester (Dot) Radford of Statesboro, GA, John Radford and Landy (Faye) Radford both of Claxton, GA.
Grandchildren: Ariana, Jakari, Kaylee Radford of Statesboro, GA, Zaylen Radford, Swainsboro, GA, Kayanna Williams of Vidalia, GA, Terrrell Smith of Savannah, GA, Jalen Fletcher of Valdosta, GA; step grands Daylin and Jaczline Mikell of Statesboro, GA; nieces Katrina Palmer and Sherry Maechild of Warner Robins, GA; nephews Pastor Randy (Pam) Radford of Caley Oceanside, Quan Palmer of Claxton, GA and William Mikel of Washington; aunts Mrs. Ruby (Fulbs) Grant of Glennville, Mrs. Izetta (Roosevelt) Palmer, Ms. Miley McKever both of Hagan, GA, Ms. Ida Mae Perry and Mrs. Cynthia Small of Claxton, GA; uncles Mr. Grawil Mills (Joan) of Hagan, GA and Mr. Arthur Tomblin of Reidsville; a great aunt Mrs. Wilmer Mills of Bellville, GA. Special cousin Delicia Meridy and a host of cousin other relatives and special friends of the family.
