Mr. Quinton Mincey, was born in Claxton, GA to the late Curtis Mincey, Sr. and Lilla B. Mincey on March 28, 1958. He quietly slipped away on June 4, 2022. He graduated at Claxton High School year of 1976. Quinton was a Veteran and served with the Georgia Army National Guard from August 23, 1975 thru August 22, 1987. Preceded him in death brother Curtis Mincey Jr.
Previously Quinton was a member of the United House of Prayer for All People. Quinton’s life’s career was mostly driving 18-wheeler trucks and he loved to cook, fish and tell jokes.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters Casey N. Mincey of Atlanta, GA, Angela (Travis) Carr of Vidalia, GA and one son Quinton Mincey Jr. of Baltimore, MD; two sisters Diane Mincey Hayward of Savannah, GA, Mary F. Dash of Claxton, GA and one brother Randy Mincey (Caretha) of Claxton, GA; sister-in-law Judy L. Mincey of Savannah, GA and two aunts Mae Etta Smith of Claxton, GA and Earlene Morris of Charlotte, NC; special friends Michael Murray, Casper Harris, Otis Cooper and host of grands, nieces, nephews, and friends.
