Mrs. Jimmie Lee Calhoun Perkins was born on November 18, 1947 in Manassas, GA to the late Mr. Roy T. and Mae Bell Calhoun. She attended Tattnall County School System. At an early age she joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Manassas, GA. She was joined in holy matrimony to Howard Perkins. She was loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by one son Jay (Mac) Perkins. She was preceded in death by a brother Leroy Calhoun, two sisters Dorothy McClain and Jerolene Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband Howard Perkins of Nevils, GA; two loving sons Charles Calhoun of Collins, GA and Charles Cornelius Jones of Reidsville, GA; one loving daughter Janice Calhoun of Reidsville, GA; five sisters Ms. Doris Calhoun, Ms. Annie Lee Stovall, Ms. Hazel McNeal both of Claxton, GA, Ms. Nancy Porter of Groveland, GA, and Mrs. Loretta (Donald) McFadden of Hagan, GA; eight grandchildren and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
