Mikell Anthony Bulter was born on October 21, 1960, to the late Louise McNeal Butler and Johnnie Bulter. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jeffery Bulter and sister Johnnie Mae Bulter.
Mikell was a graduate of Claxton High School in 1978, after graduation he joined the Marines. On October 19, 2023, at Memorial University Hospital in Savannah, GA, Mikell answered God’s call to come home.
Mikell (Tony) will be remembered by his wife Dorothy L. Butler, his children, Mikell Butler of New York, Andreavos Weaver of Atlanta, GA, Netra Hamilton of Pembroke, GA, MyNeka Hamilton of Statesboro, GA, Le’Kella and Jaz’malina both of Claxton, GA; sisters, Margaret (Clarence) Smith of Claxton, GA, Deloris Ruffin of Rincon, GA and Fran Bulter of Claxton, GA; brothers, Chris Mobley of Vidalia, GA and Greg Holmes of Ft. Lauderdale FL; two-step sons Darryl, Jamar Berry and one step-daughter Lourie Mobley all of Claxton, GA. A faithful god son Mikell Warren of Claxton, GA. He has twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mikell has two special nieces Rashida Brewton and Tomeka Thompkins. Three special friends Carl McKinnon and Michael Miller and Curtis Harden.
