Mrs. Margia English was born August 20, 1943 in Claxton, GA. Her parents were Walter Jones and Almenta Jones. She departed this life on September 27, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Hospital.
Mrs. English attended Evans County High School. She was involved in sports and the band. She was a 1961 graduate. She was inducted into the Evans County High School Longhorns Hall of fame in 2019. She pastored “Love Life Word Ministries” for over 20 years. She loved the Lord and followed his great command, to love her neighbors as herself.
Mrs. English leaves to cherish her memory and her legacy, son Michael Day, daughter Natasha English, bonus daughter Deborah Jones; six grandchildren James Rucker, Michael Day, Martika English, Markel Ming, Jordan Hall and Kaleb Hall; brother Charles Blocker from Connecticut, niece Tangela Blocker of Claxton, GA; five great grands Taylor James, Ny’miah Day, Mayson English, Prynce, Sarabi Day; a special God-daughter Rev. Cathy Thompson-Fix; special niece and nephews Doris Tomblin, Ronald Mikel (Bonita) and Dondi Blocker. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and especially church members.
