Sister Louise Penn was born to the late John and Roberta Brewton on July 21, 1928 in Evans County. At an early age she joined the Historic Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where she a member of the senior choir and participate in other activities in the church. Sister Louise attended Evans County School and later moved to Savannah where she met the love of her life the late Mr. Richard Penn. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Roberta Brewton, husband Richard Penn, sister Catherine Brown (Rufus), brothers Willie L. Brewton, Bennie J. Brewton, and Roosevelt Brewton Sr.
Sister Louise worked in the Chatham County School system, and other varies jobs in Savannah, GA until her health failed. Then she moved in with her sister to help take care of her. On Friday, September 30, 2022, God saw that sister Louise was getting tired and He call her home.
She leaves to cherish her memories, son Ardell Harper, sister Rosetta Burgess and brother Felton Brewton and friend Shirley all of Daisy GA; four sister-in- laws Loretta Brewton and Clara V. Brewton both of Daisy, GA, Lillie W. Brewton of Claxton, GA and Nettie (Howard) Shepard of Ulmer, SC; two brother-in- laws Simon W. (Patricia) Penn, Gerrald C. (Lillie) Penn all of Allendale SC; three grandsons Antoine (Ramanda) Brown of Claxton, GA, Demtric (Taneisha) Harper of St. Louis, MO and Ardell Harper Jr. of Daisy, GA; one granddaughter, ten great-grands, two great-great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and one god sister Izeetta Palmer of Claxton, GA..
