Lamonte Santel Youmans

     Lamonte Santel Youmans, 35, of Claxton, GA transitional from this earth on October 9th 2021 at Emory St. Joseph in Atlanta, GA after a long battle of Congestive Heart Failure. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary and Henry Youmans, Robert C. and Lola Ruffin Plummer, brother Sam Youmans and his God mother Mary Linda Porter.

      Lamonte was born March 8th 1986 in Statesboro, GA to Ernest and Patricia Youmans.  He was educated in the Evans County School System and worked a number of years at Springfield Motors in Springfield, GA.  He was known for his many skills and talents, from Mechanic work to ANYTHING to do with music especially DJ in and playing the drums.  Lamonte was a faithful and active member of Horse Creek Methodist Church in Rockford, GA.  His FIRST LOVE was always his family, they came before anything and anybody but “Quartet” was his life!

     He leaves to cherish his memories, his kids four girls and one boy Damarion Youmans; parents Ernest and Patricia Youmans; two sisters Candace Plummer of Claxton, GA and Elicia (Brandon) Hand of Atlanta, GA; brothers: Ernest Youmans Jr. of Savannah, GA, Dominique (Jasmine) Johnson of South Carolina.

     A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives. His special “Milk and Cookies” (Amor) & “Turla” (Ava) whom he treated as his own.
