Johntavius Malik Cobb

To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.  A time to be born a time to die.

      Johntavius “John John” Malik Cobb was born April 25, 1997 to Jackie Cobb Sr. and Rebecca Thompson (Cobb) Futch. He departed this life on January 15, 2021 from a short illness at East Georgia Regional Hospital. Johntavious attended Tattnall County Schools and graduated in 2016 from Fort Pierce Central High School in Fort Pierce, FL. He was employed by Lowes Home Improvement, in Vidalia, GA. He was proceeded in death by maternal grandfather Johnny Thompson, paternal grandfather Birket Kennedy and aunt Carvetta Thompson.

    He leaves to cherish his memories his father Jackie Cobb, his loving mother Rebecca (Chester) Futch, one sister Jacqueline Shirre Boyd (William), two brothers; Jakeal Cobb and Jackie Edwards Cobb Jr. He also leaves a paternal grandmother Johnnie Mae Carswell, New Jersey and Dorletha Kent, Collins GA; maternal grandparents, Della Mea Christie (Bernard), Hobe Sound, FL; five nieces Dasani Byrd, Mokhyia Byrd, Jasmine Cobb, Alayia Cobb and Kylie Cobb; two nephews, Jackie Cobb III and Jordan Cobb; seven uncles David Mercer of St. Petersburg, FL, Kennis Kennedy (Donna) of  Metter, GA, Carl Kennedy of  Cobbtown, GA, Chaunaut Kennedy (Jessica) of Gainesville, GA, Juan Kennedy (Keneja) of Statesboro, GA, Ricardo Davis (Brenda) of  NJ, Garnet Carswell, of New Jersey; one adopted uncle James Henry Sr., six aunts Vivetta Chew (Michael) of Start FL, Shannon Christie of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lawanda Hinton (Kevin) of  FL, Linda Murray (Dennis) of Gainesville, GA, Nell Brewton (Dale) of Reidsville GA.

     A host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
