James Moody

      The battle of life was won for James William Moody, Sr. on June 6, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1950, to the late James Wade Moody and Mattie Bell Conner Moody (Thomas) in Daisy, Ga. He attended school in Evans County Lorn Horns. He was Joined in holy matrimony to Patient Patricia Ann Moody in the year of 1989. Preceded in his death two children and two brothers, Hiley and Howard Moody.

     Some of his hobbies include fishing, watching TV, family gatherings and enjoying his family. He attended St. Luke Baptist Church as a youth.

     Leave to cherish his memories brothers and sisters, Elisha (Sonya) Moody and Letha Floyd both of Claxton, GA, Quinton (Elizabeth) Moody, of Swainsboro, GA, Eva Nell Burney, Sammy (Donita) Moody and John Thomas, Jr. (Torsha) all of Claxton, GA.

     Caring on his legacy lives seven children Tammy Bacon of Hinesville, GA, Tracy (Lamar) Palmer of Claxton, GA, Sharon (Charles) Mikell and Felicia (William Erik) Adams, both of Reidsville, GA, James (Janice) Moody, Jr., of Statesboro, GA, Aaron (Tanya) Moody of Hinesville, GA and Patricia (Corey) Dunn of Lawrence, GA; As a goddaughter, Cheka Howard Richardson, twenty-two grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephew.
