Esclerio Pezzio Hines

     Mr. Esclerio Pezzio Hines was born November 10, 1951 to the parents of the late David Daniel Hines Sr. and Macy Lee Milledge Hines in Hagan, GA. He entered Eternal Rest on August 14th 2020 at Brown Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro, GA.

     He joined in marriage to Cynthia C. Hines but they divorced after many years. To this union four children were born. Preceded him in death one child Latovia Hines, brother Ornie Hines and sister Claudette Hines.

     Esclerio went to school at Evans County Longhorn School. There he was a lead drummer and basketball player. He worked at Claxton Fruit Cake, Egg Plant and South Atlantic Galvanize. During his stay at Brown’s Rehabilitation Center, he was the group president. 

     He leaves to cherish his loving memories three daughters Mendy Hines, Nina Hines and Krystal Hines all of Statesboro, GA; two brothers, Charles Hines of Metter, GA and David “Billy” Daniel Hines Jr. of Claxton, GA; three sisters Gail Hines, Debra Richerson of Claxton, GA and Katherine Hines of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren and one great grand and a host of nieces and nephew he cherished dearly.
