Ella Grace (Dasher) Oglesby

The late Ella Grace Oglesby was born on July 31, 1938, to the late Lela Singleton Dasher and the late John Dasher Sr.

She entered into holy matrimony to the late David Rickerson at an early age, to this union two children were born. Later in life she would re-marry the late Mr. Emmit Oglesby.

Mrs. Ella Grace Oglesby is preceded in death by her infant son, three brothers John Dasher Sr., James Henry Dasher, and Barnie Dasher Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Ms. Velma Rickerson of Statesboro GA, brothers, Charles Dasher Sr., and Marvin Dasher Sr.; three sisters Inez (JC) Palmer, Mary Nunnally, and Daisy (David) Byrd; three sisters-in-law, Johnnie Mae Dasher, Barbara Dasher, and Christine Dasher, all of Lyons GA. three grandsons, Juld Gerard Carter, Devin Darell Carter and David Manning Carter; one great granddaughter Lacarla Carter, stepchildren  Edward (Yvonne) Oglesby, Lavon (Margaret) Oglesby both of Savannah Ga,  Charles (Unja) Oglesby,  Adolphus (Wanda) Oglesby both of Claxton Ga and a host of nieces and nephews.
