Darlene Elaine Jackson

     Darlene E. Jackson was born March 23, 1956 in Metter, GA to the late Rev. Jesse Jackson and Sine Mae Jackson.  She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

     Darlene met the love of her life Oscar Hatcher, to this union five children were born.  In 2016 she joined the Green Cypress Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Pierce.  She was a very hard worker and provider for her family and loved to cook and enjoy time with family.

     She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother Sine Mae Jackson and husband Oscar Lee Hatcher both of Claxton, GA; two daughters Nikita (Samuel) Holmes of Midway, GA and Shavonta (Ritchenley) Baptiste of Savannah, GA; three sons Christopher Jackson, Corry (Angel) Jackson both of Statesboro, GA and Sean (Shambrielle) Jackson of Claxton, GA; two granddaughters Makayla E. Grooms and Grace I. Holmes both of Midway, GA; two grandsons Cameron Jackson of Claxton, GA and Samuel Homes III of Midway, GA;  three brothers Bobby (Josephine) Conyers of Palatka, FL, Roy Conyers and Howard Conyers both of Savanah, GA.

     A host of nieces, nephews, aunties, cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
