Mr. Damanto Laron Mills (AKA) SLOW was born on March 28, 1977. He departed this life on March 11, 2022 at Evans Memorial Hospital. He was a husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, a big brother and uncle. His stepfathers, Stephen Bullard and Aiken Bennett III, entered his life and mentored him into manhood.
He attended Pine Villa Elementary, Mays Middle School and Miami Southridge Senior High School. He was a member at The Healing Clinic Ministry in Claxton, GA.
He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Larry Burney, brother James Robert Mills, grandfathers Mr. Olan Mills Sr., and Mr. Kevin “DOC” Burney, grandmothers Mrs. Pearlie Mae Mills, and Mrs. Laressia Burney; uncles, Larry James Riley and James McKever; aunts, Loretta Brewton, Hazel Mills, Sophia Thomas, Tangela Simpkins and Katherine Mills.
He leaves to cherish his memories, mother and stepfather, Farrie (Stephen) Bullard of Claxton, GA, and Mr. Aiken Bennett III of Miami FL, whom raised him as his son; a devoted wife Michelle Jackson Mills of Miami FL, and a special friend Shakeva Bland of Claxton, GA; daughters Tanesha Mills, Tania Mills, Justice Mills of Miami, FL and son Zayden Mills of Claxton, GA; granddaughters Emani Lidge and Sariyah Floyd both of Miami FL; stepchildren Terrielle Jennings, Jade Vinson, Ron Vinson, Joel Vinson all of Miami Fl., Mylaziah Mann, Dicobi Bland and Bricin Bland all of Claxton, GA; sisters Shameka Mills of Claxton, GA and Latrice Coppock of Atlanta, GA; brothers Dewayne Mills, Quentin Mills, Aiken (Ebony) Bennett of Miami, FL, Aiken (Loretta) Bennett IV of Claxton GA. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
