Clarence Hodges 56, of Claxton, GA departed his life at home while in care of his wife Shirley Baker on November 27, 2020.
Clarence was born on May 2,1964 in Evans County GA. He was a long-term member at Mount Olive Baptist Church of Claxton, GA. He was employed at Claxton Poultry until his health fell. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, dancing, and family activities. Clarence was proceeded in death by his son Deontez Hodges.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother Minnie Ruth Hodges of Claxton, GA, father Joe Lewis Hodges of Waukegan, IL; devoted wife Shirley Baker of Claxton, GA, three loving children Danielle Smart (Rod), Jaonda Hodges (Ray) both of Statesboro, GA and Octavius Baker of Claxton, GA; twelve loving grandkids and six sisters Evelny Moody of Savannah, GA, Lafaye Brunson of Statesboro, GA, Veronica Hodges, Robbie Hodges (Steve), Shonta Hodges (Daryl) all of Claxton, GA and Erica Hodges of Waukegan IL; eight brothers Billy Hodges (Debra), Timothy Hodges, Bryant Hodges (Bernetta), Patrick Hodges (Stephanie), Andre Roberts (Ann) all of Claxton, GA, Anthony Hodges (Amy) of Statesboro, GA, Albert Hodges of Waukegan IL, Robert Johnson (Angie) of Jesup GA and a true, real childhood friend Carl James. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
